Witches Paddle Lake Lanier 2025

What’s the Witches Paddle?

Join us for the first-ever Witches Paddle on Lake Lanier! It’s a free, spooky-fun, sunset paddle event where you bring your paddleboard, kayak, or canoe and float through a magical Halloween-themed water parade.

Rules & vibes:

  • Keep it self-propelled — no motorized boats permitted.
  • Dress up in your most witchy, spooky, or over-the-top costume

  • Deck out your boards / boats with skeletons, spiders, cobwebs, glow sticks, fairy lights — anything that glows in the dark is welcome

  • Pets in costume are encouraged

  • It’s less a “paddle” and more of a floating Halloween parade across the water
