Lanier Jet Ski is looking for energetic, outgoing, and personable individuals to join our team as Jet Ski Tour Guides and Dockhands! If you love being on the water, enjoy engaging with people, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Our mission is to create unforgettable water experiences while promoting safety, fun, and a love for the outdoors. We are searching for individuals who can bring high energy to our rentals and tours, ensuring guests have an exciting and memorable experience on Lake Lanier.

As a Jet Ski Tour Guide/Dockhand, you’ll be responsible for ensuring guests have an incredible time while maintaining a safe and efficient rental operation. Your duties will include:

• Greeting and checking in guests for jet ski rentals and tours.
• Instructing guests on how to use paddleboards & kayaks
• Delivering engaging safety briefings and instructions with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Leading guided jet ski tours and ensuring guest safety on the water.
• Assisting with launching and docking jet skis.
• Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of jet skis and dock area. 
• Capturing photos/videos of guests to enhance their experience and our social media presence.
• Assisting with customer inquiries and providing excellent service.
• Communicating with management about guest feedback and operational needs.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Ensuring Jetskis are filled up with gas & Kayak & Paddleboards are clean

Previous watercraft experience is required—training will be provided! Boating License is required You must be comfortable on the water and interacting with people in close proximity.

• Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable speaking in front of groups.
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., coolers, equipment).
• A passion for creating fun and memorable experiences.
• Previous experience in sales, boating, hospitality, or customer engagement is a plus!

• $16.50 per hour plus tips & Commission 
• Primarily a part-time position on weekends, with some opportunities for additional hours.
• 25-30 Hours/Week

Our season runs from May through October. Please only apply if you are available weekends during June, July, August, and September. Availability on holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) is preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred for tour guides).
• Must pass a drug screening (as per U.S. Coast Guard regulations, this includes marijuana and other substances of abuse).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
