Our Jet Ski Engine Rebuild Service specializes in Kawasaki STX 12F/15F engine rebuilds, Kawasaki Ultra rebuilds (250/260/300/310) and Sea-Doo 4-TEC engine rebuilds including RXP, RXT, GTR, GTX, and more. (155/185/215/255/260/300) Seadoo 325 Motors will need to be sent in first (no cores)

This is a rebuild service, not a full remanufacturing service. Your engine is rebuilt using a combination of brand-new components and high-quality OEM parts that pass inspection. This keeps the cost reasonable while maintaining top-tier reliability

Whether you send in a Kawasaki STX, Kawasaki Ultra, or Sea-Doo 4-TEC, every rebuild includes:

Complete Engine Disassembly & Inspection

Full teardown of the engine
Detailed measurement and inspection of all internal components
Failure assessment, wear analysis, and parts evaluation

Hot Tank and clean all components

Cylinder & Nikasil(kawi) Surface Service

Deglaze nikasil

Cut cylinders including cylinder head (see pic of good vs bad core)
Cylinder and piston inspection
To reduce cost, a good used jug/cylinder may be substituted as we dont replate nikasil. If your cylinders have chipping nikasil, it will be about $300 for a used cylinder.

Crankshaft & Bottom End

New crank seals
New main, rod, & thrust bearings

All New Hardware

TTY (stretch) components will be replaced as necessary

Reuse of OEM Components (When Within Spec)

To control cost without sacrificing reliability, the following parts may be reused if in excellent condition:

Valves
Chain guides
Other internal OEM components

Final Assembly & Quality Control

Proper torque values, timing, and clearances
Oil system priming
Final verification before shipment
Kawasaki Ultra 250/260/300/310 modified engines
Sea-Doo RXP/RXT/GTR upgraded builds

You may opt for aftermarket heavy-duty head studs to maximize clamping force and prevent head lift under high load. Highly recommended for racing or boosted applications - headstuds may be an extra 200-300 invoiced before shipment.

A rebuildable core is required for every engine build.

If you send in your engine → No fee
If you DO NOT send in a rebuildable core →
A $1,500 core fee will be invoiced

This applies to both Kawasaki STX/Ultra and Sea-Doo 4-TEC engines BESIDES sea doo 325 as those cores are cost prohibitive.

Around $300 for West Coast deliveries most of your time on the water!
